Jan N. Haan, AIA, has over 25 years experience in project design, construction management and resolution of construction claims. As a senior executive he has directed numerous project management and claims analysis assignments on a variety of commercial and public projects. He is skilled in the development and analysis of planned, as-built and delay analysis CPM schedules.

Mr. Haan has directed the review and development of contract documents, CPM scheduling specifications, and project procedures manuals for federal, state and county agencies. He has overseen the development and implementation of cost and schedule control procedures including change order management, CPM schedule preparation and updating, and monitoring project progress.

Mr. Haan has testified as an expert witness in deposition, arbitration and court proceedings. Issues include standards of practice, technical issues, schedule delay and disruption, loss-of-productivity and damages. He has authored or presented papers on project management, claims evaluation and CPM delay analysis.
